Before the construction of colored ceramic particle anti-skid pavement, the width of the pavement, traffic and other factors should be considered first, and facilities such as signs, traffic cones, and road barriers should be fully utilized. According to the progress of the marking construction, manage the construction site well to ensure complete construction. The construction process is as follows.
1. Pavement requirements: For concrete pavement foundations, asphalt pavement should be laid one month after pouring, and colored ceramic particle pavement should be laid two months after pouring is completed. The road surface should be dry and smooth, and uneven road surfaces will increase the amount of material used.
2. Road cleaning: Use a vacuum cleaner or hair dryer to remove impurities and dust from the road surface. If there are deep pits or damages on the colored ceramic particle anti-skid road surface, it should be repaired first.
3. Bottom coating construction: When the base surface is cement, use outdoor road specific adhesive bottom material to mix evenly according to the ratio, and then use a roller to apply the bottom coating. When constructing on asphalt pavement, there is no need to apply the bottom coating.
4. Scrape and apply resin adhesive material. Mix the colored road surface special adhesive material evenly according to the ratio, and then use a trowel and rake to scrape and apply. The uneven and concave parts of the ground should be completely filled and leveled with resin mortar material.
5. Spread colored ceramic particles evenly on the surface of the newly scraped and evenly coated colored road special adhesive material, completely covering the resin material on the anti-skid surface of the colored ceramic particles. For bicycle lanes and sidewalks, the recommended particle size for ceramic particles is 1-2mm. For bus stops, highways, and ceramic particles, the recommended particle size is 2-4mm.
6. Collect excess ceramic particles and sprinkle them with colored ceramic particles. After 4-5 hours at room temperature, the ceramic particles can be recycled and reused in sequence.
The road surface is composed of aggregates and polyester adhesives. By applying a certain thickness of two-component adhesive coating and laying aggregates on a solid road surface, colored ceramic particle anti-skid pavement can form a patterned structure on the road surface, generating sufficient anti-skid force. At present, there are mainly two types of two-component materials used for color road anti-skid pavement: hot melt type and room temperature type. Due to the simplicity of construction and maintenance, as well as the significantly better adhesion and color expression and pattern construction performance, the room temperature two-component type has become the mainstream of color road anti-skid pavement.
