The shape of ceramic particles changes with different processes. Its surface is a hard shell made of ceramic or enamel, which has waterproof and gas retaining properties, and endows the ceramic particles with high strength. How to save it?
1. When storing, keep away from sources of fire, maintain insulation, keep the warehouse dry and clean, and strictly prohibit the mixing of any impurities.
2. Prohibit exposure to sunlight and rain. During transportation, it should be stored in clean, dry, covered carriages or compartments, and there should be no sharp objects such as nails.
3. It is strictly prohibited to mix ceramic particles with flammable aromatic hydrocarbons, halogenated hydrocarbons, and other solvents.
4. Suitable for storage in a dry and cool place, it is prone to yellowing when exposed to light.
5. Metal pigments should be packaged separately from ceramic particles. When storing metal powder pigments, the corrosion residue of free acids in the material will turn black and green.
Ceramic particles with high acid value should not be packaged in iron drums. High acid value detergents are prone to react with iron packaging drums, reducing their transparency and darkening their color.
When designing paint formulations, care should be taken not to use pigments that can react chemically with resins or additives.
